QPR for Law Enforcement and Emergency Services Professionals

Through a unique partnership with the San Bernardino Sheriffs Department, the Ontario Police Department, the California Highway Patrol, the S.B.S.D. Valley Control, and the Redlands Fire Department, a hosted series of video role-play QPR interventions, together with expert commentary, has been produced for use by all Certified QPR Instructors.

The focus of this training is to prevent suicide among law enforcement and emergency services professionals, their families, and civilian employees in first responder organizations. Continuing Education Credit for QPR training
Increasingly QPR training is being approved for continuing education credit, including in law enforcement settings. Following our best practice review, which included refining the goals and objectives of QPR training, we invite you to click here to download the basic and advanced training objectives, together with a description of the core content for QPR gatekeeper training. These documents will facilitate credentialing of the training.
